It is essential to have complete control over your greenhouse's airflow, especially in the summer months. You'll want to have the peace of mind that comes with automatic openers.
Each roof vent on our Rhino Premium greenhouses is powered by automatic openers which rise and fall as the temperature changes. Powered by a black cylinder as the wax inside heats up the roof vents are pushed open allowing hot air to escape.
Vents on our Rhino Premiums are also fitted with storm locks, allowing vents to be secured down. This is ideal when bad weather is expected, allowing the entire structure to be made airtight. Note that it is important to disengage the vents before putting the storm locks into position, to avoid causing any damage to the openers.

The ideal temperature for your greenhouse is anywhere between 25-28 degrees Celsius, though it’s worth noting that with the fluctuating UK temperature, along with overnight temperature drops, you’re not going to be able to achieve these temperatures consistently throughout the year.
This is where having the perfect level of ventilation comes into play. Combining the roof vents, 6x large side louvres and even the large doorway, you can help keep your greenhouse as cool as possible in the summer and warm in the winter.

This greenhouse comes with a large double door configuration as standard, providing plenty of access for multiple people, wheelbarrows and wheelchairs. When full opened, our double door opening measures 4ft (1.21 meters).

Every single Rhino is engineered for strength and stability. Whether you're in the Outer Hebrides or the Channel Islands, our Rhinos make secure growing locations, no matter the weather. Many of our customers choose us because of this strength and stability, we often hear that our Rhinos have withstood storms and very strong gales (up to 137mph so far).
Each Rhino frame has around 60% more aluminum than similarly priced models. But it’s not just the weight, it’s the clever design of the Rhino that provides its inherent strength. There are 3 key factors that contribute the strength of the Rhino range:
- Strong tubular bracing
- An integral base
- The Rhino Tuff glazing system
The integral base and Rhino Tuff glazing system also add to the overall strength, creating a solid and airtight framework from the top of the roof to the ground.
We’ve tested the snow loading capacity of a Rhino by putting half a ton of sand bags on the roof, so it's ready for whatever the Great British weather may throw at it.

With safety at the forefront of every Rhino, we've developed our combination glazing system. Perfect for exposed locations and families with young children and pets.
Part 1 of our glazing system is the use of Rhino Tuff 4mm toughened safety glass. This safety glass is 33% thicker than most greenhouse glass and is supplied as standard with every Rhino. In the unlikely event that a pane is broken, the glass will shatter into thousands of tiny pieces rather than big shards which are far more likely to cause injury. Safety at every step is important to us, which is why even the edges of the glass are rounded so you don't cut yourself during installation. And with Grade A glass, you can achieve ultimate clarity for maximum light.
Part 2 of our unique Rhino glazing system locks each pane of glass in place along its entire length, using long rubber beads. The glass cannot be blown or sucked out of the frame and pushing on the glass only locks the beads more tightly into the frame, making it ideally engineered for high winds and other extreme weather conditions. With Rhino's glazing method, each pane becomes integral to the strength of the whole frame. The Premium range also features box-section glazing bead for even greater stability, as a step up from the Classic range.
A lot of greenhouses come with horticultural glass, flimsy W-clips and bar capping. When compared with the glazing that comes as standard on most greenhouses, the Rhino ranges come up trumps every time. With the smooth finish achieved by our glazing beads, you'll definitely prefer them to W-clips.

Every Rhino greenhouse includes a strong aluminum base in the price, which not only provides an incredibly strong foundation but also allows The Rhino to be erected simply onto firm, level soil – so there’s no need for an expensive concrete base.
Once The Rhino is erected, strong stainless steel ground anchors are concreted into position.
The Rhino can also be erected on a hardstanding of concrete or paving slabs, in which case the stainless steel anchors are fixed using the fixings provided.
All Rhino greenhouses now include a low threshold door and ramp within the price. There’s no longer a trip hazard at the doorway and on 8, 10 and 12ft wide models there is plenty of width for a wheelchair or wheelbarrow to enter with ease.

Our Rhino greenhouses offer great flexibility when it comes to base options. Unlike most other greenhouse brands, our Rhinos can be erected on soil. This is only due to the strength created by its sturdy base and framework. As long as it is level and fully compacted, in most situations soil is the perfect solution.
Alternatively, hardstanding bases are also suitable. As long as they're smooth and level, paving slabs, concrete bases and brick or block perimeter plinths can also be used.

Rhino Integral Staging is stylish, practical and of course strong! In spring you will need every square inch of growing space in your greenhouse, and this staging is designed to provide exactly that. Rhino Integral Staging bolts to the frame of your greenhouse and runs the full length. It consists of a main and a top tier staging, which are best used together.
The 1ft deep top tier staging will sit above the main staging, adding 50% more growing space and sits approximately 1350mm above the ground in your Rhino greenhouse.

2ft Rhino Integral Staging
Rhino Integral Staging is stylish, practical and of course strong! In spring you will need every square inch of growing space in your greenhouse, and this staging is designed to provide exactly that.
The 2ft deep main staging is the workhorse, perfect for sowing, potting up and pruning your plants. It provides an unobstructed run of storage space and is strong enough for the largest plant or bags of compost. The 10ft staging will support 250kg and sits approximately 840mm above the ground in your Rhino greenhouse.
Please note: the actual sizes of our greenhouses are different from the headline sizes we list on our website. Please bear this in mind when preparing your base. When your order is confirmed we will send you the relevant base plan.
This Rhino Premium greenhouse stands at 12ft 6ins wide and 18ft 6ins long with a ridge height of 9ft 8ins.
Can I install the greenhouse myself?
Every Rhino greenhouse is delivered with a comprehensive set of instructions. With help at key moments, a competent DIY enthusiast can erect this size of greenhouse over a weekend.
Can I use my own installer?
You can use your own installer but we would strongly recommend that you get a price for the job rather that a day rate as it can take several days to complete installation.
How long might installation take?
Depending on the size of the greenhouse and your proficiency it can take up to 1 week to properly install a Rhino.
Free delivery is available to all mainland US areas and includes any accessories ordered with the greenhouse. Exceptions may apply depending on location - available on request.
